Mactech Inspection Ltd offers the following
NDT (Non Destructive Testing) Services:-
Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle
Testing and Dye Penetrant Testing. Although
we support our client projects with
many more NDT disciplines (see our list
under Specialist manpower) these are
the main NDT services offered independently
on a project basis.
The object of the service is -
•
To provide surface and/or subsurface
flaw detection without degrading the
materials and components being inspected.
The flaw can then be assessed under
the applicable quality standard and
a decision made to either reject or
accept accordingly.
•
Corrosion monitoring surveys based on
wall thickness measurements and identification
of areas which have reduced wall thickness:
These measurements are then judged as
critical or not acceptable against an
agreed standard.
