    Authorised Person (Electrical) required asap for new build data centre in Netherlands.

    The work will be carried out on an 20kV network and the successful candidate will be required to draft switching schedules, issue permits, manage subcontractors, carry out inspections and audits, manage safety and issue and cancel safety documents.

    Candidates must be certified to sign off 20Kv.

    Excellent rate of pay.

    Mactech require Scaffolders (Basic and Advanced) for a project at Holbrook Waste For Energy Plant near Sheffield.

    Start date – Monday 25th July

    Expectation is for 8 weeks work, with potential for further working opportunities elsewhere to follow.

  • Contracts Manager (Asbestos)

    Contracts Manager required for multi-service contracting company based in the Midlands.

    Applicants must have knowledge of Asbestos and have worked with it before i.e. removal of asbestos.

    Duties will include liaising with customers to ensure smooth running of projects and accounts, assisting site managers where needed.

    Typical contracts will be industrial plants such as factories and manufacturing establishments.

    Mactech require a EfW Project Technical Manager for a client who will shortly begin construction of an Energy from Waste plant.

    Qualifications and Experience (preferred)
    - Experience in the design, construction and commissioning of EfW Projects;
    - Chartered Engineer of relevant UK Engineering institute (IMechE);
    - People management;
    - Problem solving;
    - Customer focus;
    - Health & Safety (NEBOSH Construction Certificate + CDM 2015);
    - Financial process understanding;

    Personal Qualities
    - Strong leadership;
    - Possess good verbal and written communication skills;
    - Energy and drive;
    - Team player;
    - Ability to take the initiative when problems arise and think outside the box.

    Other Information
    Reports to: EfW Project & Construction Manager
    Job Type: Permanent
    Salary: 60-70k
    Start Date: May 2016
    Hours : 37.5 hours per week. In addition to these hours you may be required to work a reasonable amount of overtime when necessary without additional remuneration.
