To maintain strict control of
construction materials & consumables.
•
To ensure that agreed welding procedures
have been applied and maintained throughout
construction.
•
To confirm that all welder qualification
requirements have been met before employment
on actual construction.
•
To oversee that weld preparation and
design is in accordance with the procedure
and assembly at tack-up stage prior
to welding.
•
To witness that stress relief is carried
out in accordance with the relevant
welding procedure or specified standard.
•
To maintain documented records at all
stages of fabrication for verification
and traceability.
