Graduate Project Engineer
Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater – Hybrid (3 days site 2days WFH)
Permanent Opportunity – Salary up to £45k

We are working for a substantial project that is building a new energy power station which is one of the UK’s largest construction projects. We currently require a Graduate Project Engineer for cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s 2,500 rooms.

As a Graduate Project Engineer, we are looking for someone with a good level of electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience that wants to develop their skill set whilst working on a major project.

Ideally the candidate will have 2 years post-graduation experience in a project-based role.

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the electrical team
  • Assisting in the delivery of design, procurement and manufacture of the electrical systems
  • Supporting the technical team delivering the earthing scope
  • Developing your skills by being part of one of the biggest engineering projects in Europe

Experience

  • Electrical graduate
  • Min 2 years out of university
  • Ideally with some project experience electrical graduate who has completed graduate training scheme (or similar)
  • Ideally experience of project work
  • Experience of working in the nuclear sector is advantageous
