**NDT Level 3 Engineer / Trainer / Examiner (Aerospace)**

**Bristol based plus travel and working at customer facilities**

**Salary in region of £45,000 depending on experience **

We are recruiting for an NDT Level 3 Trainer Examiner (Aerospace) on behalf of a client that specialises in aerospace non-destructive testing serving their clients via all-inclusive study contracts, technical assistance missions or specialised training courses for OEMs and their suppliers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and delivering high-quality courses and training material to students, and managing training equipment and consumables
  • Delivering lessons and effective engagement of students
  • Supporting the coordination and logistics of training and the development of the courses and learning materials
  • Invigilating and marking examinations, ensuring standards are fulfilled
  • Liaising with potential customers and building professional relationships with overseas training partners
  • Assisting in the creation of yearly planners for classroom, offsite and overseas requirements
  • Assisting with the production of coursework materials

 

Required Experience

  • Good knowledge of aircraft structures, components and materials
  • Ultrasonic, Eddy Current & Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Radiographic Testing level 2 NDT qualifications, at least in 2 of these methods
  • Documented and validated ‘On the Job’ experience hours (OJT)
  • A high degree of problem-solving techniques, flexibility in training delivery, and proficiency in Google / Microsoft Office tools
  • To be willing to train and upgrade to Level 3 (EN4179 / ISO9712) if not already held. As a minimum a qualification of minimum Level 2 (EN4179 / ISO 9712), will also be considered
  • Formal certificated classroom training received from an approved training Outside Agency
  • HNC / HND/ Foundation Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent
